We, the Eastside is brought to you by Foundation for Liberating Minds (FLM), an organization dedicated to the growth and liberation of the Eastside and it’s peoples. We are a social justice organization trying to create change through the lens of education, whether that is trainings, or community programs like We, the Eastside. This would not be possible without the support of the community and our partners in this journey! Join Us!

Our Mission

The We Eastside Initiative (WEI) is dedicated to strengthening community bonds, providing essential resources, and expanding educational opportunities. Our mission is action-driven, rooted in listening and responding to community needs. Recognizing the struggles of marginalized voices, WEI empowers the community to create change and ensures that underrepresented voices are heard and needs are met. We are committed to dismantling systemic barriers to resources, promoting inclusivity, and connecting people to once-unreachable opportunities. Together, we work toward a more equitable, thriving community. We are the EASTSIDE.
